I have 1 1994 GTX and 1995 GTX. Both are in excellent condition with identical engines. The 1994 is much faster from a stop than the 1995. Both have identical top speeds. My dealer says everything with the engine is fine. He even took both to the lake and said he could not feel a difference but after a summer of riding i can tell that the 95 is a dog compared to the 94. Could it be the wear ring? Any suggestions would be apprecieated.

Wear ring?

The wear ring has a specific symptoms hances are it jsut needs some TLC to get it back to good running condition.
