I recently had both wear rings replaced on my 2004 speedster200, I still get some cavitation out of the hole but can achieve 52 mph so just think it's sucking air on startup. Now when re-installing both pumps to the hull I just re-used the existing neoprene seals and put some marine grease on them. I just looked at the OEM parts list and will order new seals and try that, but it also showed using Loctite gel 454 on the seal....does everyone use that when re-installing the pump?? I also bought some 3M 5200 sealant which I will use all around the ride plate...any other suggestions?? Just want to make sure I get every possible place that could be causing my problem.
