Wear ring replacement gone bad

Just replaced wear ring everything spins good until I put the cone on with the 3 bolts then prop won’t turn at all release the 3 8 mm bolts on the cone prop spins freely again. Any ideas as to what’s going on

You have the thrust bearing pinched. You need to pull the cone and make sure you didn't damage it.

Easiest way to prevent this is to put the pump shaft in a vise with the impeller threads up. Then install the thrust washer, thrust bearing, pump housing and then thread on the impeller, this way the bearing can't fall into the groove and get pinched.

Did it and worked out good thank u sir, update , I installed new neoprene seal along with new wear ring solos prop had very minor cleanup the part number said it was for the right application, my new question is boat won’t get up and plane goes to full throttle and screams , is there anything else I should be checking

My guess is wrong impeller if it is not the original one.
