Ok so the boats going to the dealer tomorrow for a new wear ring, they told me the ring is $70 and about 1hr - 1 1/2 hr's to install it at $70 an hr (canadian) does that seem like to much???... I know i could do it but im just way to busy and i need the boat for the weekend lol summers are to short here. Pluse its also sticking in forward and i cant find out why, I a loose nut were the sifter cable hoooks to the gate worked fine after that then got stuck in forward again and now it wont come out at all and the boat is in the water. I looked at everything when it was out of the water gate was working fine and nothing looked bent. Im sure the problem will get solved when they do the wear ring. but i need toget it out of forward so i can get it too and on the trailer.... Also does anyone use a SS wear ring, and what would be the up and downs between plastic an stainless steel.. It ALL sand where i boat, and my channel is only 4-5feet deep with lots of boat traffic so theres alot of sand that get turned up so it seems that my wear ring is being eatin up quickly
