Water in the hull???

So I got "new to me" a 2010 210 challenger. Twins 315HP. So I've taken it out a couple of times... which is pretty amazing since I'm in Ontario and its still cold as shit here.... but every time when I pull out at the ramp I undo the drain plug and water comes out. This seems a bit perplexing to me since I start with no water... half hour ride (no rain or stunt driving) and poof water. Is this indicating I have a water leak somewhere or is this a normal seadoo type thing?

Thanks

Sean.

Water in the hull normal, how much is the more important question. I would get maybe 1 gallon after riding but I also had a few leaks that hopefully are now fixed. Make sure your bilge pump is working by the auto float and by the manual switch. If you have a lot of water, you may want to check your driveshaft seal and hoses. Have someone drive the boat while you look in the engine bay.

I have the same boat and I have ton of water in the engine compartment. My bilge pump kicks on probably once an hour when parked. In my case I found a leak at the fitting where the exhaust exits the hull. I can literally see a stream of water entering the boat. I haven't attempted to re-seal the fitting yet but I will before I start going out for the season.

You might be able to loosen the exhaust outlet clamp enough to drop it down off the hull a bit to apply some RTV from the outside and inside as well. Then tighten the nut back up. Also not sure if your boat has the function where the intake grate drops down but mine does and one of the fittings was cracked causing lots of water to enter the hull.
