Ok guys...
I was out riding my Superjet today and my brother in law was on my XP.

After about 45mins +/- we traded boats.

As soon as I went to get on the XP from the water i noticed it seemed very heavy and unstable... thought it was strange ( but I haven't ridden it in a fwe weeks and thought it may just be me.) I kept riding for about 5 mins and then took it out of the water.

Anyway out of the water I start it up to clear out the Exhaust and the bilge turns on.. *WOW* I open up the and there is about 4 " of water in the boat??

The plugs were in and sealed and my HULL is in NEAR PERFECT shape???

Any ideas?? The water was VERY WARM??? seems to have melted the extra greas from the shaft... Maybe an exhaust type leak??
Water was still coming out the pisser. just fyi

Ok Gurus do what you do!

Can i hook it up to a hose and run it for 5 -10 mins to get it to operating temp and see if I can find the leak???

I want to go back out today anyone have an idea.. ( Sorry for being impatient...just want to get out to the lake again today!!)

Ok guys.. I found the issue. The hose on the bottom of the exhaust had come off some how??? I reattached it and now we should be good to go!!!

Hey how do the bilge pumps work on these? Are they automatic or just turn on at startup and pump until needed? ( if so why would it not keep up with the intake of water 500GPH seems like a lot of water movement?) I understand if it was intaking more than 500GPH... But do these shut off after a certain time? anyway top install a toggle switch onthese to manually turn them on to check the hull is clear of any water?
