Water in jet pump...

Hi all,
I went to replace my jet pump oil today and found that due to a leaky inspection plug, the jet pump was full of water.
I removed the jet pump and thoroughly flushed it out, first with WD-40, then an air compressor, then flushed it with gear oil.
My question is: Should I plan on replacing more than just the housing cover???(inspection plug was cross threaded from last owner).
I've tried turning the impeller by hand and it turns freely, and does not seem to have bearing damage. I just don't like the idea that it was run this year without oil...
Thanks,
Tim

Tim if it doesn't have any strange feel to the bearings and it doesn't have any broken pieces or metal filings ...add the pump oil and put the screw back in it. You cleaned it and seems ok. Give it a good look over to be sure it doesn't have any cracks in it. It must of had enough oil to keep it from doing damage, and you found the problem from the filler screw. Just keep an eye on it.
