My jet ski has water in engine....never been flipped, towed, water off first, unplugged, plugged etc.???tech has no clue but needs to take engine apart to see to what extent is the water damage, up to now its in the pistons....that'll set me back $250, and if the water damage is severe ( he said the water was greenish, so its been sitting in the engine for over 2 weeks- last i used the ski was about 4 weeks ago) it could be over $5000 to fix, yikes:( What could have caused the water to accumulate in the engine?????)

I had the ski on the trailer backwards (with the front of the ski facing backwards on the trailer and the front tilted-nose down-, and water did accumulate in the foot section). Could this have been the cause????

Any one wanna give it a shot, greatly appreciated.

Rick

Firstly, What model ski? Was it started on the trailer? Was there a lot of water in the hull?

The water being green indicates possibly coolant if it is a 4tec
