No there is no gasket to replace the o-rings. The o-rings actually work really well but the head and cylinder deck have to be perfectly flat.

The correct fix would be a new cylinder but you have nothing to loose trying your JB weld fix.

I have seen them worse than that and still not have an issue. That small of a chip should not be enough to allow the o-ring to come out of the groove.

I would try new o-rings and loctite 518 per the manual.

Definitely use some loctite 518 all around the orings. Put some in your fingers and pull the oring through it and use a q-tip to smear it in the groove.
