i just got a 2009 speedster 150 155 with 50 hours on it, its like new took it out twice and notice when im sitting on the lake not moving water comes in through the drain hole onder drivers seat but once i start moving it all goes out why is this? should i have a plug or something for this?

That happened on my 155 as well, but no you should not have a plug for that. It is called a self bailing system. The idea is that if water comes in, it should flow out of that hole and back into the lake or wherever you ride. The reason it happens is bc when you are sitting there, it pushed that part of the deck under the waterline, bringing water in. Once you start moving, the boat rises up, pushing the water out. My 07 Speedster has the same scupper, but I do not have the water intrusion problem that my Sportster 155 had for some reason, which could be due to a slightly different hose routing in the engine compartment. You may be able to raise part of the hose in the middle enough to stop most of that water intrusion, but you don't want to raise it enough that it keeps water from going back outboard.

The scupper valve may not be sealing the way it should and you can pick them up fairly cheap and it's a 10 min switch if you choose to do it. Sometimes the rubber gets dried out or gets weak and doesn't seal like when it's new.
