warning siren sounds when controls are touched

I have a 2007 Speedster 150, 155na and a siren started going off when i tried to shift the control lever to the forward position. The battery switch was off. It sounds for about 30 secs and then goes off by its self even with or without the DESS on. Didn't find anything in the shop manual for this. Anyone know what it is. It is not a beep or series of beeps it sounds like a theft alarm.

I found it. It was a small battery operated horn the previous owner had put under the dash near the DESS beeper. Damn its out. All i could think of when it was going off was my wallet being sucked down the drain.
