Want to change the color on the seadoo!

Has anyone here ever done this? I have two older (91sp/92spi) the color is pretty weathered and are projects for me and the wife. I want to paint them once I get them finished but dont know what kind of paint to use or where to get it? Would a boat shop know?

If you're going to paint them I would recommend Dupont Imron, however it's probably not something you can do yourself. There's an ongoing thread about painting a PWC, you might want to check it out.

Have you tried buffing out the gelcote? SeaDoo's have a really thick gelcote, you can usually buff it out with good results.
