Want to add a second battery..........

So I'd like to add a second battery. I did a search on this forum to see if anyone has any posts or threads about doing so, but I couldn't find anything.

Any suggestions or help from people who have done this?

I had someone do it for me but I thought I would share a few pics to give you some ideas on where to place the battery.

I have a 2012 Challenger 210 with the single 260 HP engine.

Here are a few pics with the original battery (black one) and second battery (blue one). He also replaced the battery switch with one that has - battery 1, battery 2, battery 1&2, and off.

search dual battery, there is a lot of stuff around. i would recommend to use a vsr rather than a straight isolator switch. i'm going to a vsr as soon as the spare $$$ come to me!!

Thanks for the help gentlemen. I have a pretty good idea what I'd like to do. Just researching what parts I want to use. It's gonna be a few months before I do it.

MY buddy added a second battery to his 2012 speedster 150 with no problems. Plenty of room.
