I have just purchased a 2001 challenger 180 240 hp. I am wondering if it sets a good wake while wakeboarding or if they are shallow and i will have to be pulled slowly to get the bigger wakes.

Most wake boarders want big wakes and slower speed. Your challenger will do just fine. Give it a shot and see, you'll be surprized.

The new seadoo wake editions have ballast tanks on board to make the wakes you want and a cruise control to keep the correct speed. They are also like $35,000.00usd. I think yours will do just fine.

Was towing a friend the other day he is a good wake boarder with his own wake boat.
He found the wake and speed(21mph) to be better than his own boat, he has ballast bladders on his boat, i had none only two people on board.
Looking to purchase a monster tower in the near future.

I have heard fro lots of seadoo jet boat owners thet because the seadoo's don't draft much water(12" on avarage)that they do a great job for wake boarders.
