"Whoops!" Said my spotter.
Oh well, it's happened to all of us I'm sure.

2009 Utopia se 430hp supercharged

what can be damaged?
I was able to remove the rope as it was only wrapped around the shaft. However, It did stall out both motors when I sucked it up and it twisted on the shaft like your moms spaghetti on a fork. Motors fired up fine after I was able to remove the rope.
Are the intakes independent to each motor individually or do both intakes work simultaneously?
Both Motors stalled when the rope was sucked up. I had to get towed to the launch. I didn't want to try and start one motor if both intakes fire up to. When I freed the rope, I dry started the motors (I had to take the boat out of the water to remove the rope) and they went to ideal as normal.
Would there be any damage to the impeller?

Thanks in advance.

Once the tow rope is removed there should be no damage to the boat's drive system. The intakes are independent of each other.

So in hindsight i could have started my right engine as the rope was in the left intake??

That is correct.

One thing to keep in mind is NOT to exceed 15 mph if and engine isn't running. This is to prevent water from being forced into the exhaust and then to the engine.

I doubt you could have gone 15 mph on one engine, but just in case.

That's why I said idle home.

Unless you have valves installed to block water either entering or exiting the exhaust manifold. They're wise to install for just such an issue, especially if you're not the one in control of how your boat is being towed back in.
