A friend came over and wanted help finding a solution to his porpoiseing 1994
SPX. He wanted a cheap fix, so we put a manual adjustable trim from a HX
I had on the shelf. Later I ran across this guy's ad and I want to know if
anyone has a pro or con on the item:

the only thing the trim fix does is you unplug the wires from the motor and the power sending unit and trim um back and it will set you up to bypass the vts modual. i have seen it done and it was its just that the trim gauge may not work or it could be jumpy. But for $65 you really cant go wrong.

anybody have any interaction or purchased one?
I've emailed him and sent him an ebay message. He did reply back to my ebay message, but it took 1 week to get back with me...makes me a lil' weary!
