My VTS works sometimes, so I have decided to disconnect it. I manually turn the knob in the box to set on the level mark. I guess the last time I was in that box the level move to the second to last dot on the gauge.

My question is. Does the makes it harder to turn? I couldnt do a 180 or 360 and others where saying it was hard to turn. They were non riders anyway

Should have nothing to do with how hard it is to turn.....at least steering effort-wise. If it did, then you have something jamming in the steering mechanism which would really not have anything to do with the VTS.

The trim adjustment will shift around a little since the VTS shaft can still spin in the motor assembly.

I think I might have figured it out. The only thing that makes sense to me is, I have added the splash guard to the front. I guess that takes aways trying to turn on a dime uh.
