I know this topic is well-worn, but I’m having trouble finding a good, clear set of instructions for doing the 451m hack for the VTS. I’ve looked in various forums and on you youtube and keep coming up with bits and pieces. These posts have raised more questions than they’ve answered - about the operation of the trim indicator, limit switches etc. I have a 97 XP. Should I just order the trim fix kit? Does that retain gauge operation, etc.?
