My family and I were out on the lake yesterday and had been anchored for a while. Swimming and listening to the radio. When we went to pull out I turned the key and nothing happened. I thought I had run the battery down. Another boater offered to tow me then I turned the key and it started. (I thought maybe the boat didnt want to be seen being towed - lol). We ran around the lake for about 30 minutes (I'm thinking adequate time to recharge if necessary). Turned it off and upon restart same thing.
So we opened the deck and we could see and hear that when we turned the key the starter was clicking and moving a small amount. After 10 tries it started.
Once we were at the dock I tried it again and same thing happened.
Suggestions???
