My 97 SeaDoo GtI runs great and has never seen salt water. When starting it after aweek or so there is alot of white smoke from the exhaust. After a minute it goes away. I assume this is some sort of oil leak into the combustion chamber?. The ski runs great, so should i worry or just keep running it. I tend to flood it when i start it after a while as i am still getting used to it. Thanks Todd

Do you leave the gas turned on when you trailer it down the road?
I have two 94 SPX's that were doing the same thing the last couple of times I took them out. After doing some checking I figured out the I was forgetting to shut the fuel off. (Senior moment)

White smoke = steam, Blue smoke = oil, Black smoke = running too rich or too much fuel in the cylinder. Maybe you have a blown head gasket. If so dont run your jetski till you find out the problem or further internal damage can occur
