Hello everyone,
I'm new to jet boats and read you must clamp off the water intake house when towing the boat, to prevent water from going into the exhaust/engine.
Is this the hose I would need to clamp for towing?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
It should be the line coming off the pump going into the exhaust manifold. Being that you didn't provide a year or engine info, I had to guess. Here's a diagram from a 2009 twin engine 205. The arrows indicate where I believe you can clamp or install a valve.
