Hello!

I'm wondering if any of you are using an ATV to tow your PWC (seadoo) into water? Is it possible? I don't own a truck or a car but Iam looking to buy a ATV so I can tow my seadoo into water but I want to know if that is possible?

Thank you!

We have friends that live in a private community and have access to a public lake. Most of the people there use atv's and side-by-sides to launch their ski's. You just have to keep the speed low because a ski can overpower the brakes of an atv and cause a crash when turning. Just keep the speed slow and you will be fine.

Absolutely can be done. The kicker is the angle of where you are launching. Too steep or poor traction and you will not be able to do so.

I do it with a sxs, with the atv you'll probably take a couple hours off the the belt life pulling the ski out but that doesn't stop me.

I just picked up my beast of a tow rig!! As far as I know it was the only 3 wheeler with reverse, but I could be wrong.

But really, those big reds are some good machines. I think i would rather have 4wd to make sure those ramps dont get so slippery and you go back in

I use my Prairie 360 4x4 to tow around our double, well i guess it is a triple place trailer with the JS550 on the front of it, trailer around the yard. Dont see why it couldnt pull it out of the lake, just make sure you are in low gear and you got good brakes on it. I will agree tho, a side by side would be the best bet if you have it...

Minnetonka4me what size is that one... my car parts buddy restores the 250's, and makes big money with them. but I think they are the 250r's Is that the ES ?

yup its the 2 stroke racers that fetch crazy money. Mine is a 200es, they made a 250es but im not sure it has reverse.

I went with the 3 wheeler b/c it fits in the back of a truck better and allows me more room to pack stuff. low gear creeps...should have no problem pulling skis out of the water.
