it may have been said before but dont hesitate. if you are melting caps on the raves stop messing around and buy new assemblies. I didnt realize how worn my housings were until I bought new assemblies. and its night and day when it comes to performance. save your pennies and buy new assemblies. trust me:thumbsup:

Can you shed some more details? What issues were you having before, just the melting caps? Is it really the new model assemblies or just your old assemblies being beyond spec? Any idea what the oem spec dimensions are for those w/used motors trying to measure them? I am on the old style assemblies & was debating the updated versions but wasnt sure what the real pros/con's are. Mine have not been melting caps but was just curious about any more info on them.

Thanks for your time!

Hey,
I apologize, I just noticed you sent me a question. (year later) Anyway Im not sure the dimensions or specs of the assemblies or valves but I do know that when I compared the old to new sets it was a huge difference in how tight and almost machine fit the new was.
