Unknown hose connection – 98 SPX

There is a clear plastic hose that runs to the front of the ski and discharges overboard just below the rub rail. The other end was just laying in the bilge. Anyone knows where this connects to? I had the carbs off but I don’t remember taking that off. Appreciate any help!

Most likely an extra vent that is connected to the original yellow cap battery. If you have a sealed maintenance-free battery, then you wouldn't need it.

You should check that your fuel vent hose and check valve is installed - they look similar.

I'm very new to this. Does the fuel vent hose hook up to the carbs or the fuel tank? Again, appreciate the help!
