First post so let me say hello..
This may be a noob question but I've heard a lot about putting twin turbo or just a turbo into the RXP-X model. I'm relatively interested in doing this but have no idea how to go about getting a turbo fit for a jet ski. I've googled it a bit and found nothing but youtubers showing off their turbos. If anyone has any advice on how I could go about obtaining a turbo for the RXP-X, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If you're asking whether you can only put a turbo in an RXP-X, I don't know but since I have an RXP-X that's why I am asking about it.

Yup you can put a turbo on all 4 stroke seadoo's. Going turbo is the best upgrade as you will no longer have to worrie about Supercharger failures. But you will need to find a way to deal with all the heat generated by the turbo. Whats your reason for going turbo? if its top speed sell the X and get a regular rxp. Over 80mph the rxp-x has a bucking problem and people have been hurt. this is not a problem on the regular rxp. check out they have turbo kits from $4,000-$7,000 pluse youll need an rrfpr, injectors, ecu impeller ect ect ect so its not cheap.

I'd rather keep the x cause selling now seems like a hassle that I don't have the time for..
If I were to get everything needed, turbo, impeller, and all the other parts you mentioned, about how much we talking here?
Oh and would you mind elaborating on the bucking problem? Never heard of this but doesn't sound too good.

The X hull has a much bigger intake tunnel to the pump and at high speed it can overstuff the pump and cause the ski to buck and can throw the rider off. Your good up to 80mph. RXT-X doesnt have this problem only the RXP-X. Price depppend but you spend at minimum $5,000.

Hmm. Any ways to fix or decrease this problem? I saw something about drilling holes in the intake grate.. does that really work?

Did anyone solve the bucking issue ? I just started researching this and it kinda turned me off to any upgrades.. The thought of getting bucked and hitting the water at 75 mph seems like it might be painfull.... :ack: what is or was the root cause and what is the fix ?

RXP-X Stage II ?

So I was looking into upgrades on my 2008 RXP-X. I seem to only find stage one kits and I keep reading about bucking/pump overstuff issues.

Above there is some discussion related to the RXP not having issues. Has anything been done with the RXP-X to allow for safe mod to stage two or above?
