Turbine not functioning

Finally got my boat on a good lake and opened her up. The port engine hits 8000 rpm while starboard tops out at 6000. I also noticed no turbine whine on the starboard engine but engine seems to run ok just not as powerful. Any suggestions.

If it is super charged check your intake hose for cracks or to see if one came off.

Hose looks ok, The engine only has 50 hours on it. Could the wear rings be worn already? Just purchased it from a dealer

If I just bought it from a dealer I would be back on his doorstep. Not trying to fix myself.

you can always pull the intake off the super without it running of course and stick your hand in and see if you can spin the fan. if it spins you have a super problem if you can't move it then you should be able to rule that out.

It dosnt spin, what does that mean

means that your super should be working fine and your clutch washers and needle bearings are all still in place. if that was your concern then you shouldn't have to worry about that. make sure you get it serviced every 100 hours like you're suppose to.
