So I bought a 1999 Speedster SK a few months ago. And from what I can confirm, the trailer is NOT factory.

So I want to try to find the correct trailer for this boat. Here is why...The one that came with it is designed for a larger style heavy boat.l that's also longer then mine.. It has been modified to make it work for my SK. But due to the trailers steel size, it's maxing out my towing capabilities. Where most trailers are made with 1.5"×3" tubular steel. This I made with 1.5"×5" tubular steel. So it's a lot heavier. If I find the factory trailer or the one closest to it, I know it will be lighter on easier on my SUV.

So all of the following boats are supposed to be the same 16'6" in length. So if someone with the following boats
-1999 Speedster SK
-1999 Speedster
-2000 Speedster SK
-2000 Speedster

Please reply with the following on your trailer, I can then start looking for one here in Arizona.

Make:
Length:
Photo:

At this point...I have no clue were to start.
Thanks a bunch.

Finding a trailer should not be an issue it's getting all the bunks in the right position that is the key

I have a 1998 speedster with factory trailer that I might be looking to get rid of. It’s galvanized, not the white painted one. I bought the boat, have been working on it for a while, but I have too many other projects and may part it out. I’m in Massachusetts tho, which is a little far from Arizona. Let me know if you’re interested...
