LSaupe New Member Aug 12, 2012 #1 I am have intermittant Speedometer. Started as an occasional blip (work work fine 90% of the time). Now its more like 25% working (zero otherwise). Paddle wheel spins fine. Are there any typical problems with these? Just looking for where to start. Larry S.

Dr Honda Well-Known Member Aug 13, 2012 #2 I'd check the connection at the transom, and then in the helm. BUT... unfortunately, the gauge will get moisture in it... and they just eventually fail. Have you ever noticed moisture behind the glass?
