Any thoughts on what may be wrong??
We have a 2009 challenger with only 50 hours on it. It is having trouble getting to top speed, takes a lot longer and when u push throttle ahead it revs really high, so we have to go really slowly now to get to top speed... any thoughts? thanks.

if it's reving up, but not going.... you have cavitation.

Start with checking the impeller, and wear ring. You will need to remove the pump for a good inspection. (You may also find something stuck in there)

If that's OK... change the carbon seal on the drive shaft.

FYI... you have a 4-stroke boat, so the question should be in that section. BUT since cavitation is universal... I'll leave it here.
