RESTO Trimmed RAVE valves on a stock Bore??

Hey guys so I had a 951 carb that was over bored 50 thousand (1mm) the rave valves had been trimmed by a shop

I just rebuilt the engine and had to go back to a std/stock bore will my trimmed RAVE valves hurt this engine ???

I get there will be a bit of lag as they open but can it damage my brand new rebuild

I had an engine shop pretty much tell me the same thing. LOL The most important thing is that they don't contact the piston.

Thanks guys much appreciated, I just rebuilt the top end it ran great for break in and 2h after then started surging on me again wasn’t sure if the rave valves were giveing me melt down some how
