I just picked up a 98 Challenger 1800 that needs some TLC.
Does anyone know or has anyone re-attached the trim molding piece I show in the pics?
It is really hard to shape or bend. I am assuming that I need to remove the entire piece and heat it up in an oven.
Then, I would be able to attach it with some silicone adhesive. Does anybody have any other ideas?
Thanks

I Have the same problem on mine... I would try heating with a Heat Gun so you can shape it right on spot. I was going to try silicone also but Lou's idea sounds better as it will stick immidiately.

Actually, I used Locktite 414 (like Crazy glue) and it worked great. Use a heat gun and glue it as you go. The 414 is more powerful then regular crazy glue and once is sets up, you move to the next part.

The trim you see in the pictures was with the boat when I got it. If I were you I would try an authorized dealer like the sponsors of this forum or Perry's Performance.

I ended up gluing it with "Strong Stick" made by DAP. I picked it up at Home Depot.
