Has anyone used TriboDyn synthetic 2 stroke oil? It supposedly has a special ceramic coating and meets TC-W3, API TC, and JASCO FB specifications. I got a gallon and was rhinking if using it in my premix 720 engine seadoo.

Never heard of it but I can tell you way back to the old Seadoo/Rotax engine engineers there’s no such thing as a dual rated oil as API-TC and TCW-3 are two completely different requirements and additive packages that aren’t compatible or meet the same testing.

API-TC had to meet the highest anti-wear and lubrication requirements and TCW-3 had to meet the biodegradable marine requirements and neither could meet the requirements for the other.

Polaris switched to TCW-3 and their engines started blowing up and their warranty claims went through the roof and they switched back to API-TC.
