transducer transom mount on 05 sportster

Looking for some ideas to mount transducer on back of 05 sportster for fish finder. location and any pictures would be great..thanks

Not my boat, but... I have had best luck using a bracket made of aluminum and attaching it to one of the bolts/nuts in the pump, versus thru hull glue, which I tried once. the transducer died I was stuck with a dead paperweight glued to the boat.

Others have had better luck than me. Good Luck!

yeah going to put transducer in the hull where a little water always sits....just going to strap it in

My boat is Challenger 1800 not the same, but this might work for yours as well.
I removed the ski locker sock and epoxied the transducer to the inside hull.
Ran the wire then replaced the sock. Out of sight. Out of mind. Works great.
