Trailer Hitch Size

I can't seem to find anything online about what is the most common size hitch ball on pwc trailers. Anyone know? 2"? 1 7/8"?

Yes, it depends on who makes the trailer. Both are commonly used ball sizes.

Reese makes a hitch with 3 different size balls welded on, just pull out and rotate to the size you want, available at Walmart I think for like $40

i'd have to say 2in, never seen one, but had built a trailer, with the 1-7/8in, and it never failed, when using different trailer, ALWAYS had that damn ball size on.

Either - I've had lots of 1 7/8" action with no problem on a 1996 Subaru Legacy sedan.

Whatever your buddies have makes it easier to match up for quick trailer swaps.
