I have one hub leaking grease like crazy from between the hub and cover where the grease zerk is located. Any idea what type of 'bearing buddy's' these are? I am not familiar with this type of greaseable hub. I am only familiar with the bearing buddy brand. Bottom line I need some parts but I'm unsure of the brand/type, this is on a 2010 Sea Doo 210 Challenger tandem axle trailer. Anyone familiar with these more so than me?

Do your caps look like these?

If so, you probabli have easy-grease axles like mine. There is a zerk filling on the end of the axle that feeds two sets of holes near each wheel bearing. The idea is that pumping grease into the holes will displace the existing grease and force it out through the bearings, and out around the outside edge of the cap. The instructions suggest rotating the wheel while pumping the grease in to disperse it through all of the bearing surfaces.

This is different from a bearing buddy, which basically uses a spring in the cap to keep grease forced into the bearings.

Hope that helps.

Excellent, thank you for the posts. I see how they work now. Looks like I can remove the grease cap with no problems and find a replacement if I cant get it to re seal. I assumed they were a spring loaded cap but I guess not. I didn't want to pull the cap and have everything fall apart or something crazy and not know what parts I might need.

I replaced the caps when I serviced the trailer a few months ago. Local trailer shop should have the rubber caps for a buck or so.

The OP said, hub is leaking grease like crazy" if you don't tend to that you will fry your bearings. I've seen many a trailers on the road stranded with a wheel off or crooked because they didn't tend to that "crazy" leak.

Just a word to the wise, get that leak sealed.

I am going to take care of the leak as it makes a mess all over the wheel, luckily we only have a 1 mile drive to the lake and gas station. I need the complete metal cap as well as the rubber grease cap but this post has pointed me in the right direction.

Found exactly what I need at northern tool, one cap was bent allowing grease to sling everywhere. New cap, no problems!
