You can order those on line new for about $400-$600 for the first gen 240efi. They are cheaper for the second gen 240efi. Also you can purchase the very old round style TPS for about $250 on ebay but they are hard to come by. Be cautious if you buy a used one anywhere because it could be bad just like yours.
There are a lot of threads here about the dreaded $500 tps. The most expensive I could find on RockAuto was $100.
If you have an outboard graveyard / recycler, take you screwdriver.
I found NOS unit with round connector. 10 minutes with soldering gun and heat shrink and good to go. Lasted 4 years so far.
It cost $120. Good luck in your search.
