Towing Question

My brother ran over a coconut and a nylon wakeboarding tow rope with my 2006 speedster 150 and now the engine won't start. we normally keep the boat on a lift outback but to get this problem fixed were gonna have to put it on the trailer. so im gonna use my sea ray 240 sundeck to tow the speedster. is there any certain or special way im supposed to tow my speedster with another boat? thanks for the help

I believe the sportster, like my challenger calls for clamping the water intake hose(s).
Check your owners manual, I believe they call for pinching the hose for towing above 8-10 knots.
