i'm sure i'm wrong, but my guess is 10X that figure....

I've towed 1,000-2000 pound craft with my xp,,, granted we didn't go very fast, but it moved.

your tow hook will be just fine, this isn't dead weight, and even if it was- 3-400 pounds is nothing.

so, stick a couple people on a tube and yank away, the hook isn't going anywhere.
