Too much oil injected

Hi All

2003 Islandia. Second generation, electric oil pump.
Took the boat out, ran great through all rpm ranges no issues. Took the kids on the tube, slowed down to pull them in, shut down the engine, loaded them up. Went to restart, it would not start.

Started seeing lots of white smoke when trying to start- not sure if it was oil or just lots of fuel from trying to start to much.

Waited a bit, finally started up- lots of smoke then cleared up

Pretty sure the plugs were fouled and the oil or fuel dissipated and it started.

So, there is the 4 psi release valve on the on board oil tank, there is no way to adjust the oil pump, what else am I missing? Leaky injector? Only have taken this out 3 times. I don’t know the boat well and it’s kinks yet.

It smokes a lot on start but dissipates after a couple of minutes and seems to have normal little bit of smoke for a 2 stroke. Usually restarts right up. Sometimes a bit of smoke on restart

Could it just be a leaky injector?

Really appreciate any advice.
