To fix or to junk?

I picked up a 2014 GTX Limited Off ebay with 77 hours.
Big mistake.
Everything worked fine for a while.
I took it to the local dealer to have a regular service and fix the steering- $1500. (Nice that he never mentioned checking the supercharger)
Now I just got throttle body error codes and check engine, so I again took it to the dealer.
He reported back with a guestimate of $3700 to fix disintegrating supercharger which was throwing metal bits into throttle body (which also needs replacing) and that is fixable. However he could not predict if engine would soon go south since metal bits were likely getting into engine. He told me I should think it over before fixing it!!!
Is he just punishing me for buying off ebay and forcing me to buy a new one from him? I am in Central Florida. Is it possible to get an indie mechanic to put in a whole new rebuilt engine so I only need to pay for the labor once....I am at the point where the amount I am spending for the repairs will soon hit the price I paid for this PWC.
I welcome suggestions on what you guys would do. Obviously prior owner never serviced supercharger. I am scared to go out on this machine after dealer said engine could let loose at any time.
Maybe the coming hurricane will blow it away and I can claim insurance
