Tips for 2006 Sportster Wear Ring replacement?

So I'm looking to replace the wear ring on my 2006 Sporster since it was cavitating last summer and I'm just pulling it out of hibernation.

I have a wear ring and impeller tool but haven't started the process yet. Are there any other parts or greases I'll need for this?

Does anybody know of a good step-by-step how-to for the process? Even if you were to type me up a point form process in here it'll be worlds better than what I've found so far, which is diddly-squat.

I plan on making a throrough how-to on this. Think 1080p video .

Any and all pointers will be MUCH appreciated. It won't be my mechanical skills that will be the issue here, it'll be the unexpected things that require little tricks lol.
