Timesert Install ????

Howdy everybody. I have done this quite a few times but I would like to see what others do. Im repairing the threaded hole for the stud and one other with timeserts on the 717 manifold. Someone has already done this once and Im hoping I am doing a better job. It feels like it will go together good. I thought I would watch the web stuff and even when you see loctite in the kit I dont see anybody using it. Outside threads by the way. I have red thread locker and green bearing mount. Any thoughts I want to fill any void I have in the housing since its been done before. Ill assume when its cured and going together I would put a dab of blue on all the bolts and nut when it come to securing the pipe to the manifold.

Well I used the green bearing mount for the hole that had more play which was not much and a little red on the other.

Sorry, I have only done Heli-coils.

Thanks for the reply. I had timeserts in the tool box from being a import mechanic. I just felt there was a little slop in one of the holes where the stud goes and the hole across from it was in poor shape. Ill take a pic and post it.
