thru hull replacement

iam lookjng change my thru hull fitting and I see its hard plastic and I know it has epoxy to hold it in,,has any body ever change there's on a 95 speedster...and is it difficult,I bought the new today,any would be great,I can't find any info on doing this job....ty joe

If the new fitting will slide inside... then cut the old one off flush, and glue it in. If it doesn't fit... then get a chisel, and knock the old one out.
