I'm new here on the board and pretty new to Seadoo's. I have a 95 SPI. The problem I have with it is the thru hull fitting, where the hose attaches at the rear of the bearing on the driveshaft, is broken. The previous owner let it go for awhile and finally it broke completely last weekend when I had the ski out. It seems to me that the bearing was never really greased on a regular basis as it should have been and froze up and busted the rear fitting. Is the the thru hull fitting easy to replace? Is there any special tools I would need? Any help would be apreciated, I have no repair manual and I've also done a search and couldn't find any info on how to change this. Thanks for any help!

You should be able to repair the the area youself. Here is a suggestion...
Since you don't have a seadoo shop manual. Here’s an idea for you. You could join as a "premium member". As a premium member you can down load a authentic seadoo manual from the seadoo manual library. In the library is a variety of manuals for almost all years and models. You can view as many as you like on line as a PDF file, or download it and print it for your personal and private use. There are operator manuals and repair manuals for you to do your own repairs on your seadoo. The repair manuals have everything from troubleshooting, repair procedures to winterizing. It contains wire diagrams torque specs and pictures for disassemble and assemble instructions. In the spec sheets it tells everything needed to maintain oil changes, spark plug gaps, carburetor rebuilds and impeller wear ring tolerances. Click on the "Seadoo Manuals" link at the top of the page for more details. If you need any help or get in a jam, we are always here to answer your questions too. Premium members get priority when it comes to getting quick detailed answers.
On the seadoo forum we now have seadoo "parts" availiable. Click on the link at the top of the page or on the home page.

Can I just repair the part with some fiberglass and resin? what i'm thinking is trying to build that part back up with firberglass enough to get the hose to clamp on and seal again.

Yes, that should do it. Just take your time and it should work out ok.
Keep me posted on how you make out.

If for some reason that does not hold up I do know that they make a sleve for the threw hull on my boat I believe they will allso make it for yours and as karl has said with the manual you will be able to make many other repairs. this new replacment part for my boat is shown in my manual and goes into detail of how to install it. I do not know for sure if this is what you need I just thought it may give you more to look into. good luck Robin
