Been a popular thing around the social world, thought I would contribute. Watch this video, its amazing to see what these skis were like in the early 90's

Im not even gunna lie, I want an old SC and turn it into a bad ass sleeper machine! I have been looking for one but cant find any! Can you believe those skis sold for 6k+ back in the day. Doesnt make the new 11-12,000 $ machines too bad of an investment honestly, because they have to be at least 2x as fun as those were

I owned an Kawa SC (Super Chicken) for almost a week. Paid $100.00 and sold it for $250.00. I never did get it running. It looked like a golf cart on the water. I'll see if I can find a picture.

I think the guys price was a tad high. I just checked the receipt for my 96 XP and I paid $6,035 OTD from Big Red Motorsports on February 10, 1996. I sealed the deal over the phone. It was great, they asked what I wanted to pay and I said $6K a piece for 2 of them. Guy didn't hesitate and said I'll fax you the credit forms and we'll see you next weekend. I couldn't get a dealer to throw in a PFD near me and these guys knocked of $600 a ski without flinching. I took one and my buddy took the other, I bought his before he even finished paying it off and he went and bought a nice ski boat. Seadoo was offering 12 months same as cash and I was paid off in December of 96', I put $3K in cash down on it and paid like $250 a month. I wish those days were here again. I still have all my credit forms, Seadoo issued Credit card, original owners warranty card, original owners manual, basically everything piece of paper from the transaction. Those were some good times back then for sure.
