Throttle cable broken.

Any one know how much this is going to cost? Left engine will not throttle up but the return side looks good. It's broken off at the end adjustment area with the set nuts... I'm totally bummed out..I just bought it and I knew I should have taken it to the lake first before I paid for it...ugh

So, I did the leg work and you have a 97 challenger 1800.


And now for the news to make you vomit.......I just sold a brand new one for a hundo. They go for $175.

Check 1998 sportster throttle cable thread that is recent. Hilex that makes the original ones can make them for $$100 including shipping

I'm assuming it's the one on Amazon? Which is aftermarket. But regardless......you still need it and they have been discontinued from Seadoo for a while to the best of my knowledge. Not to say you can't still find one laying around. And you could get it cheaper yet from OSDparts.com but, they're out of stock. Might be worth an ask, they have always done me solid in the past of parts not listed in stock. The one I had looked like really nice quality, so if it is aftermarket it looked good. Get that thing fixed and on the water!
