So whats the best way to rate what a boat is worth? , i know what nada guides says but...its clean , runs great ...has new seats...pumps freshly rebuilt...new fitted cover, ect.... so where do I begin?

Well, I just paid $6000 for the exact same boat here in Scottsdale AZ... I can't say that I am the best negotiator out there when it comes to buying toys...but hey... that's what I paid. =)

With a boat... it depends on the region, and the time of year. Since we are in early summer... the prices are high. (so that's good for you)

All you can do is post it up, and see what kind of interest you get after a week or two. Locally... I've seen clean SK's sit at $4500, but in some places... they get sold quick for $6k.

So... price it a little high, and gauge interest.

Also post the compression readings on each cylinder. This helps serious buyers know how much life is left in the engine.

I just purchased a 99 speedster, not the Sk, for 6000 here in Nashville. It was in good shape, but you sound like you have more "new" stuff.

Well its up for sale now in the classifieds section if anyone is interested. For some reason it didnt post all the pics I put in, I can send those and answer any questions you might have, so let me know. Thanks!

We have the exact same boat only in red. We purchased ours here in New England for 5000. The original owner was asking 6500. It is in very good condition with no rips or tears in the vinyl and only had approx. 145 hours.
