Think I have a water leak

So took the boat out yesterday and I think i have a outside water leak into the boat.

water will pool in the ski area maybe 1-2" this is being out on the water for approx 6 hours.

Where should I start to look for it and what is the best way to find the leak?

any help is most appreciated

Common places are,,, the carbon seal and the area where the hull is seamed together on the rear of the boat. Some, and i don't know which, the rear of the boat where it is seamed rides below the surface of the water and it has a bumper covering the seam.

You can leave it tied to the trailer and back it into the water and see if it comes in from the seam.

Ill have to look at it tonight and see about the rear seal below the waterline. If not then this weekend in the water.

Also check the cable going to the grate system. I replaced it this year and it leaks there on my boat :-(

I always end up with an inch or two of water in the ski locker area of my 2007 Utopia. What did you find on yours?
