Ok, so Bombardier used to make a ridgid bow cover for the 1998 seadoo speedster. Up until now I had only seen this picture: http://www.sea-doo.net/Specifications/2004BB/08_134.pdf

I was somewhat interested, since my wife likes to lay out in the sun and there's not really a good place for that on this boat. Turns out they quit making them in about 2001-2002 and they are virtually impossible to find. Recently I had a chance to buy one (at a very steep price). I can't really justify the price, but I got some great pictures that let me understand how it works for the first time so I thought I would share. Just as a side note, how much of a financial reach would you make for something like this? I have a very hard time estimating its worth since there are no previous sales to go off of. It also does not come with the cushion, so you'd probably have to make one yourself.

I'd love to have the thing, but $475 is just crazy for a part to a 16 year old boat that's only worth 5k or so.

I have only seen a few for sale over the years. The best place to layout on our Speedsters is..........the beach.

Thanks for sharing the pics.
