Good afternoon
2000 gti was beeping when lanyard put on. But no start. Starter turns on bench test and when crossing starter relay posts.
Now no beep and nothing when pushing start button??? Fuses Good, battery is good... any suggestions

Beepers can go bad and often.
You should get two short beeps when installing the lanyard.

Wiring diagram to identify the wires and the plug. Download the manual. Today I tested the switch on a 1996 SPX. Simple test, switch was normally open when you press the start button you get continuity. You need to identify what is preventing the ski from starting, if that is the problem. The beeper will help you identify.

Are you sure it was not the start/stop switch but the relay.
